Snow Trails’ 64th season continues as winter sports enthusiasts enjoy a host of updated offerings, including skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. This is reflected in the latest Snow Report from the resort issued on Friday, January 3. Highlights are below.
Expanded Terrain and Fresh Snow Await Visitors
Snow Trails is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing ample time for adventurers to hit the slopes. With a solid base of 20″ to 36″, the trails feature 6″ of new snow, including 4″ of machine-made snow and 2″ of natural snow, creating optimal conditions for skiing and snowboarding. The slopes have been expertly groomed, with ongoing snowmaking efforts ensuring fresh surfaces throughout the day.

Trail highlights include popular runs like Outer Limits, Silver Bullet, and Pine Alley, all of which are open and ready for exploration.
Upgraded Terrain Parks and New Features

- Alpine Park and Progression Park: Recently rebuilt and open.
- The Woods Terrain Park: Open for now, with another rebuild planned next week.
- Rustler Jump Line: Undergoing a rebuild, set to reopen on Saturday.
- Terrain-Based Learning Park: Currently being rebuilt to enhance beginner experiences.
For thrill-seekers, the Mt. Mansfield Glade and Upper Glade are open, offering natural wooded terrain with a fresh snow cover.
Tubing Adventures for All Ages
The Tubing Park is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing a fun, family-friendly experience. Advance reservations are required, as walk-ups are unavailable. With seamless online booking, visitors can secure their spot for an exhilarating day on the tubing slopes.
Resort Improvements for 2024-2025 Season
Snow Trails has been busy during the off-season, completing a range of projects to enhance the guest experience. Key upgrades include:
- Improved snowmaking capabilities for consistent coverage.
- Enhancements to slope grooming equipment for superior trail quality.
- Upgrades to facilities, including the ski shop and event spaces.
