The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is rolling out an exciting new initiative: selfie stations at 15 state parks and three state nature preserves. These stations are strategically placed at prime locations to capture the breathtaking beauty of Ohio’s natural landscapes.

Discover Scenic Beauty in Ohio’s Parks

Ohio State Parks and State Nature Preserves are renowned for their stunning scenery. From rolling hills and dense forests to tranquil lakes and cascading waterfalls, these natural wonders offer an ideal backdrop for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers. The diverse landscapes provide an abundance of picturesque settings year-round, making it perfect for capturing vibrant fall foliage, the serene stillness of winter, and the lush greenery of spring and summer.

Prime Locations for Perfect Shots

The selfie stations are situated in some of the most beautiful spots within the parks, including:

  • Ash Cave at Hocking Hills State Park
  • Swinging Bridge at Caesar Creek State Park
  • Shores of Headlands Beach State Park

Join the ODNR Selfie Challenge

To add to the fun, ODNR is hosting a special selfie challenge. Visitors are encouraged to snap selfies at 10 different Ohio State Parks or State Nature Preserves selfie stations and email the photos to Will Armbruster at [email protected]. The first 50 participants to complete this challenge will win a 75th anniversary Ohio State Parks passport and could be featured on ODNR’s social media platforms. The campaign runs through late fall 2024 or until the 50-person limit is reached.
