Whether you’re in search of tasteful home décor or the perfect gifts for loved ones — or you simply want a full day of fun — the Vintage Peddler in Butler features must-see vintage and one-of-a-kind products in a beautiful wooded setting. The festival runs from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9 and features over 90 local food, jewelry, clothing, and furniture vendors.

The Vintage Peddler, which is in its second year, is coordinated by the founders of the long-running Prairie Peddler Festival, a wildly successful fall event that has become a favorite of the Richland County community. At the Prairie Peddler, all goods sold must be handmade. Organizer Mandie Willis said they wanted to create something a little different for the springtime. “It’s not all handmade, so we can include antiques and vintage items, or vintage clothing,” she said, “and also some boutique stores with really cute clothing.”

Multiple vendors who were present last year will also attend this year, Willis said, but the festival has also grown. Stores from Mansfield, the surrounding areas, and even down to Columbus will participate. In addition to vendors, the second annual Vintage Peddler will also include live music, a fashion show, and several DIY demonstrations. Flower arranging workshops with custom wood planters by Old Soul Woodworking will take place both Friday and Saturday. Tickets for the workshop are $65 and include festival admission. Saturday features the vintage fashion show.

The festival will kick off on Friday from 5-8 p.m. with Early Bird Shopping — your chance to get first pick on special items and win vendor giveaways. The Vintage Peddler will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $6, but kids 12 and under are free. There is free parking on-site and the event runs in rain or shine.

The Vintage Peddler is the perfect event for you if you are looking to find clothing, accessories, or home décor in a “farmhouse, vintage, or shabby chic style,” Willis said, but the scenic, woodsy location is sure to guarantee an enjoyable experience even if you’re just there to browse.
