The much-anticipated Rock-N-Ribs festival is making its return to downtown Mansfield from August 16 to 18. This beloved event promises to deliver a weekend filled with mouth-watering barbecue, lively entertainment, and a strong sense of community spirit.

Sizzling BBQ and Delicious Treats

This year, the festival will feature three national cookers renowned for their award-winning barbecue: Mojo’s, Cowboy BBQ, and Smokin T’s BBQ. These vendors are sure to delight attendees with their signature flavors, bringing a taste of authentic barbecue to Mansfield. In addition to the savory offerings, the festival will also serve up classic fair foods, including French fries, funnel cakes, ice cream, and lemonade, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Supporting Future Culinary Talent

The Rock-N-Ribs festival isn’t just about good food and fun; it also serves a noble cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit the N.C. State Culinary Scholarship Fund, which aims to support students in pursuing their culinary dreams post-graduation. This scholarship fund is dedicated to helping aspiring chefs and culinary entrepreneurs continue their education and build successful careers in the culinary arts.

Local Entertainment Lineup

Adding to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere, local talent will take the stage throughout the weekend. Connie & Friends will kick off the entertainment on Friday at 6:30 PM, bringing their unique sound to the crowd. On Saturday, the Jimmy Vincent Band will take over at 6:30 PM, promising a night of lively music and dancing. The weekend will wrap up on Sunday with a performance at 1:00 PM by a band yet to be determined, ensuring a fitting end to this exciting event.

Event Details and Sponsorship

The festival will open its gates at 11:00 AM each day, giving attendees plenty of time to enjoy the food, music, and festivities. Entry is just $5 per person, making it an affordable option for families and groups looking for a weekend of fun.

This year’s Rock-N-Ribs festival is proudly sponsored by DLX, Gravity Ohio, Phillips Family Foundation, and Charter Next Generation Films. These sponsors play a crucial role in making the event possible, ensuring that it continues to be a highlight of Mansfield’s summer events calendar.
