ASHLAND COUNTY
State Route 96 resurfacing – SR 96, from SR 545 to just east of Baney Road, will have single lane closures beginning the week of April 7 for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: September 2025
State Route 96 culvert replacement – SR 96, between Township Road 1443 and County Road 1353, is closed for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists will be SR 96 east to SR 545 north to the village of Savannah to U.S. 250 east to the city of Ashland to U.S. 42 south to SR 96 (Main St./Sandusky St.) and reverse for westbound motorists. Estimated reopening: Friday, April 11, 2025
State Route 603 consecutive culvert replacements – NEW IMPACTS – SR 603 will close Monday, April 14 for four consecutive culvert replacements. Crews will begin work on the culvert closest to U.S. 42 and move north on SR 603 at the locations listed below.
- Location #1 along SR 603 just north of U.S. 42 with an estimated timeline from Monday, April 14 to Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
- Location #2 along SR 603 south of Township Road 1596 with an estimated timeline from Tuesday, April 17 to Monday, April 21.
- Location #3 along SR 603 at the intersection of Township Road 1528 with an estimated timeline from Tuesday, April 22 to Monday, April 28. Township Road 1528 will also be closed to traffic during this scheduled culvert replacement.
- Location #4 along SR 603 north of Township Road 1475 with an estimated timeline from Tuesday, April 29 to Friday, May 9.
The detour route for all four culvert replacements will be the same. The detour route for northbound motorists will be SR 603 north to U.S. 42 north to SR 96 (Main St./Sandusky St.) west to SR 603 and reverse for southbound motorists. Estimated completion of all culverts: Friday, May 9, 2025
CRAWFORD COUNTY
U.S. 30 pavement repairs – U.S. 30, from the Wyandot County line to the Old Lincoln Hwy (CR 330) interchange, will have single lane closures for a pavement repair project. One 11’ lane will be maintained in each direction. Estimated completion: July 2025
State Route 61 minor rehabilitation – SR 61 will have single lane closures from Crawford-Morrow County Line Road to Monnet-New Winchester Road, south of Galion, OH; and from McNeil Road to just north of Thrush Ave, in Crestline, OH. Project work includes pavement repairs and bridge maintenance work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: September 2025
State Route 103 pavement repairs – SR 103 from the Wyandot County line to SR 4 will have single lane closures for a pavement repair project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: June 2025
State Route 103 railroad repairs – SR 103, at the railroad tracks just east of SR 4, is closed for railroad repairs. The detour route for westbound motorists will be SR 103 west to SR 602 south to SR 98 south to SR 4 north to SR 103 and reverse for eastbound motorists. Estimated completion: Friday, April 11, 2025ic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: September 2025
RICHLAND COUNTY
State Route 13 resurfacing – SR 13 northbound and southbound, from Hanley Road to Chilton Ave, will have long-term lane closures for a resurfacing project. The northbound and southbound driving lanes will be closed for roadway reconstruction and culvert work. Traffic will be maintained in 10’ lanes in each direction with barrels. Estimated completion for the 2025 construction season: November 2025 (Estimated completion of entire project: May 2027)
Interstate 71 slope stabilization project – I-71 northbound and southbound, between SR 39 and U.S. 30, will have single lane closures for a slope stabilization project. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. Estimated completion: November 2025
State Route 181 minor rehabilitation – SR 181 will have single lane closures from just south of Main Street in Crestline, OH to SR 309. Project work includes pavement repairs and bridge maintenance work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: September 2025
State Route 181 culvert replacement – NEW IMPACTS – SR 181, between Ulmer Road and Horning Road, will close Monday, April 14 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists will be SR 181 east to SR 61 south to SR 309 east to SR 181 and reverse for westbound motorists. Estimated completion: Friday, April 18, 2025
State Route 314 pavement repairs – SR 314 from the Morrow County line to the city of Ontario corporation limits will have single lane closures for a pavement repair project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Estimated completion: June 2025
State Route 314 culvert replacement – NEW IMPACTS – SR 314, between Flowers Road and SR 309, will close Monday, April 21 for 30 days for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists will be SR 314 north to SR 97 west to SR 19 west to SR 61 north to SR 309 east and reverse for southbound motorists. Estimated completion: Wednesday, May 21, 2025
