The Renaissance Performing Arts Association is excited to announce virtual auditions for its 2025-2026 Season. Aspiring performers from across the region and beyond are invited to submit their audition materials for an unforgettable lineup of productions ranging from Broadway classics to thrilling new works.
To audition, performers must submit 16–32 bars of a song in the style of the show(s) they are auditioning for, along with a dance reel (if available). All submissions must be received no later than May 5.
The Renaissance strongly values diversity and inclusion, and encourages submissions from women, non-binary and trans individuals, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and people with disabilities. All roles are open to performers of all ethnicities and gender identities, unless otherwise specified.
2025-2026 Season Productions:
THE WIZARD OF OZ (July 26–August 3, 2025)
The beloved story of Dorothy’s journey through Oz, featuring iconic roles including the Scarecrow, Tinman, Lion, Glinda, Wicked Witch, and more.
DRACULA (October 3–12, 2025)
A dark, dramatic retelling of the Gothic horror classic, with layered characters such as Mina, Jonathan, Lucy, and the Count himself.
SHE LOVES ME (November 21–30, 2025)
A charming romantic musical comedy set in a 1930s parfumerie, featuring characters like Georg, Amalia, Mr. Maraczek, and others.
A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (February 21–March 1, 2026)
Stephen Sondheim’s raucous Roman farce filled with slapstick comedy and standout roles such as Pseudolus, Hysterium, and Philia.
MAMMA MIA! (April 25–May 3, 2026)
The ultimate feel-good musical with the music of ABBA, following Donna, Sophie, and their eccentric friends and suitors.
LIZZIE (May 29–June 7, 2026)
A fierce, all-female rock musical exploring the infamous true crime story of Lizzie Borden and the women in her life.
1776: In Concert with the Mansfield Symphony (May 20, 2026)
A special concert performance of the Tony-winning musical about the signing of the Declaration of Independence, featuring dynamic historical figures.
