The Mansfield Gay Pride Association has proudly announced the 4th Annual Mansfield Pride Festival will be held on August 4th. With the positive feedback from last year’s location, the event will be returning to Central Park to entertain, educate, and advocate for the LGBTQ community and its supporters from Mansfield and the surrounding community.

The Festival will be Saturday August 4 from Noon to 9 PM. With live entertainment, a Kid Zone, and a beer tent, this family friendly event will feature Vendors from across the state and some from across the country.

The Parade will begin at 11 AM, and will movesouth on Main street starting at 5th Street and ending at Park Avenue where the Festival will begin once the Parade concludes.

The Association has also announced that this year’s Parade Grand Marshal will be Lydia Reid, Mansfield’s longest serving and first woman mayor. Reid was selected, according to officials, because of her long-standing support to the LGBY community.
