They go from plant to plant, dozens of times each day, and thank heavens that they do!

You are invited to the Sixth Annual Richland County Park District Pollinator Festival, which will be held from August 2 through 4 at the Gorman Nature Center.

Come learn all about the importance of our native pollinators including butterflies, months, hummingbirds, bees, and wasps. Enjoy a wide variety of hikes and programs on pollinator identification, planting native plants to attract pollinators, and more.

Native plans will also be available for purchase from Natives in Harmony.

A kick-off event will be held on Friday evening where you can visit the vendors and vote on the photo contest entries. A live butterfly exhibit will be on displa, and the “Butterfly Lady” will also be back with her “All a Flutter” butterflies.

The Festival will take place on Friday from 7 PM to 9PM, and then on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM. The entire event is free and open to the public.
