SR 13 Resurfacing from Hanley Road to Chilton Ave

Resurfacing work is currently underway on SR 13, extending from Hanley Road to Chilton Ave. Here’s what to expect for this project:

  • Single Lane Closures: Both daily and nightly single-lane closures will be in place throughout the project. The lanes will be reduced to 11 feet, and traffic will be guided using barrels and temporary work zone striping.
  • Bridge Deck Maintenance: Malone Road, which crosses over SR 13, is undergoing bridge deck maintenance. While the work continues, a single 11-foot lane will be maintained for traffic flow. This phase of the project is expected to wrap up by October 21, 2024.
  • Lane Closures on SR 13: The inside passing lanes are closed both northbound and southbound from just north of the I-71 ramp to Chilton Ave. This closure is due to median shoulder asphalt replacement, which is part of the preliminary work for next season’s resurfacing activities.
  • Projected Timelines: The contractor is completing initial project tasks, and the work planned for 2024 is expected to be finished by November 2024. The overall project has an extended timeline, with completion slated for May 2027.

U.S. 30 Eastbound Catch Basin Inspections

Catch basin inspections are currently taking place along U.S. 30 eastbound, spanning from SR 309 to 5th Ave. Here are the details:

  • Daily Lane Closures: The passing lane is subject to daily closures to allow for inspections in the median. The work will maintain a 12-foot lane for vehicles.
  • Estimated Completion: The inspections are expected to conclude by the end of October 2024.
