The Richland Academy of the Arts‘ 7th Annual Performance of the Nutcracker Ballet, presented by The Village Network, will be performed in early December at the Shelby High School Performing Arts Center.

The Nutcracker is perhaps best known for its score by Russian composer Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The two act ballet has become a staple of the Christmas season across North America.

The ballet was first performed in 1892 in Saint Petersburg.

Performances will take place on December 2nd at 7 PM and December 3rd at 2:30 & 7:00 PM. Visit https://buy.tututix.com/richlandacademyofthearts and get your tickets.

This production of The Nutcracker has been added to 1812Blockhouse’s Home for the Holidays, which includes links to many of the Christmas season events across Richland County. It can be accessed via the link on our home page, or by clicking here.
