The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Richland County (NAMI Richland County) is celebrating two decades of working in the local community to, in the words of its mission statement, “…improve the quality of life, ensure dignity and respect for persons with mental illness and to support their families.”
In that time, the organization has grown in capacity, reach, and impact. A large number of people have dedicated and given of their time, passion, and monetary gifts to the organization.
To commemorate this achievement, NAMI Richland County launched its 20 Days of Giving campaign on June 28.
All proceeds from the campaign will provide funding for NAMI on Campus, which is held twice a month on the OSU Mansfield and North Central State College campuses. The group is dedicated to mental health awareness, support, and education.
The group is dedicated to normalizing mental health conversation, equipping individuals with mental health resources and creating a culture that accepts and supports anyone with a mental health concern. To learn more about NAMI on Campus (NOC) and this campaign click here.
By giving today, you will directly impact the generation of tomorrow. To help cover the cost of NAMI on Campus, our goal for this campaign is $1,000.
