Following the overwhelming demand of the January Murder Mystery, the Renaissance Theatre announces it will resurrect “Murder at the Ohio Theatre,” an interactive Murder Mystery based on the 1929 murder that took place at the theatre on June 1 and 2 at 7 PM in the lobby of the theatre.
“Many theatres claim to have ghosts, but few theatres have had actual murders happen on site. We have ghost hunters request ghost tours on a regular basis, but this murder mystery event offers people a chance to play detective with this true unsolved mystery,” states Colleen Cook, Director of Marketing for the Renaissance and one of the co-creators of the event. While based in truth, the event is a dramatization inspired by the actual event and takes some liberties on the original story.
A limited number of tickets are available for $25 each, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets can be purchased online at mansfieldtickets.com, via phone at (419) 522-2726, and at the Renaissance Box Office. Because availability is limited, it is unlikely tickets will be available at the door for this event.
