A Monday raid on the northwest side of Mansfield resulted in the arrest of three individuals, as well as the seizure of 24 grams of suspected heroin, 44 grams of suspected methamphetamines, 10 grams of suspected marijuana, other pills, $105 and drug paraphernalia.

The METRICH action at 814 Lenox Avenue resulted in three men being taken into police custody — James Brown, 27; Jeffrey Boehm, 32; and William Adkins, 38. The three are suspected of drug trafficking, possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Intelligence collected by METRICH detectives and the Patrol Bureau of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department resulted in a search warrant, which in turn led to the apprehension and seizure.

Officials said the basis for the search warrant was formed by intelligence collect by both METRICH detectives and the Patrol Bureau of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The hard work and dedication by both resulted in the seizure of the evidence stated above.

“The basis for the search warrant was formed by intelligence collected by both METRICH detectives and the Patrol Bureau of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department,” said METRICH Commander Lt. Jason Bammann, in a press release.

The investigation continues.

Residents are encouraged to report drug activity by calling the METRICH Crime Tip Hotline at 419-52-CRIME (419-522-7463), or the Task Force line at 419-755-9728.
