James Osgar of Mansfield was in disbelief when he found out he had won $100,001 in Saturday’s Rolling Cash 5 drawing. “I thought I was dreaming,” James shared, clearly still processing his incredible luck. He had bought his winning ticket at the Quick Mart, located at 563 S Diamond St in Mansfield, where a simple purchase turned into a life-changing moment.

The winning numbers for that draw were 10, 18, 24, 36, and 39—all chosen by James himself. After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28%, James will take home approximately $72,000.72. As for his plans for the winnings, he expressed a desire to use the money to “help some people out,” donate to charity, and continue to try his luck by playing the lottery.

Rolling Cash 5 is a popular Ohio Lottery game that holds daily drawings at 7:05 PM. With tickets priced at just $1, players can select five numbers from a pool of 39, or they can opt for an Auto Pick to let fate choose for them. If no one wins, the jackpot continues to grow by at least $10,000 with each draw, starting at $100,000. Tickets for each day’s draw are available until 7:00 PM.

James’ win is a reminder that life can change with just a little luck and a ticket. As for the Ohio Lottery, its contributions go beyond just creating winners like James. Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed over $32 billion to support education throughout the state.
