A Mansfield resident is celebrating big news this week after snagging a substantial win in the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 5 game. Jesse, whose last name has not been released, took home a total of $50,417 after matching all five numbers in the May 4, 2025, midday drawing.
The Winning Combo
Jesse selected the winning numbers 1-9-2-6-8 for the midday draw. He wagered $0.50 using a 120-way back-up bet and played the same ticket twice. Both tickets turned out to be winners, each earning him $25,208.50.

Though the total win came to $50,417, after the standard 28 percent in mandatory federal and state taxes, Jesse will receive an estimated $36,300.24. Still, not a bad return for a $1 investment.

The lucky tickets were sold at Mansfield MotoMart, located at 1050 W 4th Street in Mansfield. The convenience store may become a lucky charm for hopeful players following Jesse’s success.
