On Monday, Richland Public Health included the following categories and numbers in its start-of-week report.:

The number in parenthesis represents the levels on August 14, a little over two weeks ago:

  • Confirmed Cases — 654 (604)
  • Probable Cases — 40 (30)
  • Total Cases — 694 (634)
  • Cases With Recoveries — 641 (541)
  • Hospitalizations — 95 (87)
  • ICU Admissions — 33 (28)
  • Deaths — 17 (13)
  • Age Range — 6 months to 97 years with a median age of 43

The reported case numbers suggest that there are currently 38 active cases of COVID-19 among Richland Countians. In mid-July, that number stood at 133.

Across Ohio, those numbers currently stand as follows:Confirmed Cases — 116,666 (100,945)

  • Probable Cases — 6,491 (5,612)
  • Total Cases — 123,157 (106,557)
  • Cases With Recoveries — 100,127 (84,904)
  • Hospitalizations —13,376 (12,128)
  • ICU Admissions —2,961 — (2,743)
  • Deaths — 4,138 (3,784)
  • Age Range — Less than one to 109 with a median age of 42
