This early fall, the Mansfield Art Center is presented two opportunities for children aged K through 8th grade to learn creative ways to use clay to create art. The following classes are being offered.

Ceramics For Kids (6 weeks) for Grades 3rd through 8th
Instructor: Brittany Jackson
Tuesdays 4:00-5:30 PM from September 12 to October 17
Cost: $80 Members, $105 Non-Members, Supply Fee $20

Can’t keep the kids out of the mud puddles? Let’s combine their joys of getting dirty and their creativity to create art in clay! They will be exploring techniques such as pinch and coil pots and even have a chance at the wheel!

Little Tykes Clay (6 weeks) for Grades K-2nd
Instructor: Brittany Jackson
Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm from September 14 to October 19
Cost: $80 Members, $105 Non-Members, Supply Fee $20

Add a little bit of clay, add a bit of color and it’s amazing what young minds can create! Most projects in this class will be hand-building yet students will have opportunities to watch demonstrations on the wheel and experiment with throwing with the help of the instructor.
