The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library (MRCPL) is kicking off 2025 with an exciting lineup of tech classes for adults and teens. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your Microsoft Office skills, dive into 3D printing, or enhance your online safety, the library’s January offerings have something for everyone. All classes are held at the Main Library, and registration is now open.


Mastering Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Word – Advanced
    Date: Wednesday, January 8, 9:30-11:00 AM
    Level up your Word skills by learning about headers, footers, margins, sections, and page numbering. Ideal for those looking to create polished and professional documents.
  • Excel – The Basics
    Date: Tuesday, January 21, 9:30-11:00 AM
    Discover the fundamentals of Excel, including how to create and format spreadsheets and use basic formulas for business or personal projects.
  • Excel – Beyond the Basics
    Date: Tuesday, January 28, 9:30-11:00 AM

Explore 3D Printing and Modeling

  • 3D Printing Demo
    Date: Monday, January 13, 6:00-7:00 PM
    Learn the ins and outs of 3D printing during this interactive session. Watch the library’s 3D printer in action and get tips on how to utilize these services for your own projects. A short Q&A will follow the demo.
  • Intro to 3D Modeling: Tinkercad
    Date: Monday, January 27, 6:00-7:30 PM
    Discover Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly online 3D modeling tool. Learn to design and create three-dimensional models that can be paired with the library’s 3D printer. An email account is required for setup, and basic computer skills are recommended.

Improve Online Safety and Get Creative with Canva

  • Internet Safety for Android Smartphones
