The City of Mansfield Parks Department has joined the office of the Mayor in announcing that the Hooked on Fishing – Not Drugs program will begin on Wednesday, June 6 and will run through August 2 from 1PM-3PM at North Lake Park.

This program is a free fishing program for all school aged children who wish to attend.

An instructor will teach the children the basics of fishing. Bait and polls will be provided. The Police Athletic League will educate the children on drug awareness and prevention.

The program is made possible through a generous donation by the Richland County Foundation.
