Have you ever wondered what those useless weeds are in your flower beds and backyard? You might be surprised to find out that most of them are in fact highly beneficial edible and medicinal plants that are quite nutritious and delicious.
Come join Nicholas Copley of Lionheart Medicinal Gardens as he guides you through the “wild” places on the grounds of Kingwood Center Gardens in the hunt for edibles in the late Summer and early Fall. Nicholas will be identifying and educating participants on the history, nutrition, and medicinal benefits of each plant encountered along the way.
The workshop will take place on September 4 from 6 to 7:30 PM. Cost is $10 for members, $12 for volunteers, and $15 for non-members. To register, click here or call 419.522.0211.
