The Renaissance Theatre announces general auditions for their 2019-2020 season, Sunday, August 18 from 12 PM to 4 PM, and Monday and Tuesday, August 19 and 20 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
The season includes Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, (performing October 4-5 & 11-12), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (performing November 16-17 & 23-24), Rock of Ages (performing March 7-8, 14-15), and Cabaret (performing April 25-26 & May 2-3).
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song. If you are auditioning for Rock of Ages and Cabaret you will be asked to learn a dance combination. (Link will be provided once you’ve scheduled an audition.) Callbacks will be held at a later time.
Appointments are required and auditions are open to performers ages 16 and up and will be held at Theatre 166 – two doors west of the Renaissance Theatre at 166 Park Avenue West in Mansfield. To make an appointment please go to RenTickets.org/get-involved/audition.
