Foundation Awards $44,556 In Summertime Kid Grants

The Richland County Foundation is supporting summertime programs focused on children.

The Summertime Kids Committee Chaired by Foundation Board of Trustee member Jotika Shetty along with members from the community awarded $44,556 in Summertime Kid grants. The grants of up to $2,500 were given to support creative, educational, and fun-filled activities for hundreds of Richland County children.

The following grants were approved:

Blue Rose Mission — Home Repairs and Training

Camp Nuhop — Summer Camp

Crestview Local Schools — Arts Enrichment

Crossroads City Center — Summer Camp

Friendly House — Summer Fun Program

Hospice of North Central Ohio — Camp Hope

K-City Childcare — Summer Camp

Little Buckeye Children’s Museum — Play for All Program

LifeCare Alliance — Diabetes Camp

Little Buckeye Children’s Museum — Little Helper Program

Mansfield Area Y — Bike Safety Program

Mansfield Art Center — S.T.E.A.M. into Multi-Media Mania

Mansfield Playhouse — Disney’s Frozen Jr.

Ohio Bird Sanctuary — Friendly House Nature Camp

Renaissance Performing Arts — Camp Broadway

Shelby City Schools — Camp Invention

Recreation Unlimited — Summer Camp

Richland Newhope — Campership Program

Salvation Army — Summer Zone

Unstoppables — Youth League
