For the last several months, we have been brining our readers weekly updates from the Ohio Department of Transportation which concern and/or impact Richland County drivers.

This week’s update is the final one for 2022. It also shares news of a final change to traffic flow along US 30 as a part of the two year project through the city of Mansfield.

This Tuesday, November 22 will see crews open the second lane of traffic for US 30 westbound between 5th Avenue and Bowman Street. This will be the final traffic switch into the permanent pattern.

Resurfacing work on this section will resume in the spring.

This series will pick up again in the spring after the construction season begins.
