Numbers released Friday by Richland Public Health suggest that Richland County is joining other locations which have seen increases in the number of COVID-19 cases over the last month.
The following categories and numbers were reported. The number in parenthesis is that reported at the end of August.
- Confirmed Cases — 796 (654)
- Probable Cases — 65 (40)
- Total Cases — 861 (694)
- Cases With Recoveries — 751 (641)
- Hospitalizations — 106 (95)
- ICU Admissions — 33 (33)
- Deaths — 19 (17)
- Age Range — 6 months to 97 years with a median age of 42.
The reported case numbers suggest that there are currently 91 active cases of COVID-19 among Richland Countians. For comparison, that number stood at 38 near the end of August.
In mid-July, however, there were 133 active cases.
Note that apparently there were no new ICU admissions in Richland County during the month of September.

- Age Range — Less than one to 109 with a median age of 40
The State of Ohio’s county of school COVID-19 cases for students and staff has shown no new student or staff cases over the last week.
