The Richland County Board of Elections has announced the schedule for early voting in the upcoming election:

“Absentee/early voting will commence Tuesday, October 8, either by mail or in person at the Richland County Board of Elections, 1495 W. Longview Ave., Suite 101.

The closest entrance is in the back of the Longview Center by the “Vote Here” sign and flag. If you enter through the front entrance, you must take the stairs or elevator down to the lower level.

Those who have requested absentee ballots by mail will have their ballot mailed out starting October 8. Absentee applications to vote by mail are available by downloading a form from our website here:

EARLY IN PERSON VOTING* HOURS FOR November 5th, 2019 GENERAL ELECTION

  • TUESDAY – FRIDAY – OCTOBER 8-11 — 8AM-5PM
  • MONDAY OCTOBER 14 – COLUMBUS DAY – OFFICE CLOSED
  • TUESDAY – FRIDAY – OCTOBER 15-18 — 8AM-5PM
  • MONDAY – FRIDAY – OCTOBER 21-25 — 8AM-5PM
  • MONDAY – FRIDAY – OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 1 — 8AM-7PM
  • SATURDAY – NOVEMBER 2 — 8AM-4PM*
  • SUNDAY – NOVEMBER 3 — 1PM-5PM
  • MONDAY – NOVEMBER 4 — 8AM-2PM**

*Please note that Saturday November 2nd at Noon is the deadline to have an absentee ballot mailed to a voter
**Please note that Early Voting ends at 2:00 P.M. on Monday before the Election.

All precincts will be open for this Election. If you want to view your ballot online, or check to find out your polling location, please visit our website at:

Enter your first and last name and your date of birth. You can then view your ballot for the November Election by clicking on your precinct number under “Sample Ballots.”
