A warm spell means that repair crews are out and about taking care of some important repair projects this week.

The Richland County Engineer’s Office has shared that crews will be out finishing up a couple projects this week, including a paving project on Possum Run Road which will continue on Wednesday, Thursday, and possibly Friday. Expect some delays and use extra caution in the work zones.

The County’s striping contractor will also be out this week placing new centerlines on various County Roads. Be safe!

The City of Mansfield has shared that due to water main repairs it has become necessary to close sections of East Third Street from North Diamond Street to North Adams Street.

The road expected to be re-opened by the end of the workday on Friday barring any unanticipated problems. Construction signs will be posted at the work site.

Traffic is advised to plan an alternate route to avoid possible delays. No traffic will be permitted to pass.

Also, due to water main repairs it became necessary for the City of Mansfield to close Sloane Avenue/Vennum Avenue from Albert Avenue to Poplar Street.
