There will be an informational public meeting for Richland County and the City of Shelby residents (excluding the City of Mansfield) interested in taking advantage of the recently funded Community Housing Impact and Preservation (CHIP) Program.

There will be funds available for owner rehabilitation and minor home repairs. A representative of the Fair Housing Program will be present at this public meeting to answer questions and distribute information regarding housing discrimination issues. This meeting will be held on October 25 at Shelby City Hall Meeting Room, 5 Water Street, Shelby, Ohio at 6:00 PM. Due to security measures, please use the Water Street Entrance.

Applications for assistance will be made available for the first time at this meeting. If you cannot attend, applications can be picked up AFTER October 25 at the CHIP Office- 43 W. Main Street, Shelby, Ohio. Any questions can be answered by calling 419-347-6310.
