Does Bigfoot, alias Sasquatch, roam the backwoods of the Buckeye State?

This map of claimed Bigfoot sightings in the US and Canada, with the darkest regions representing over 400 alleged encounters, shows that Ohioans are among the avid Bigfoot claimants.

During the months of October and November, the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library will be looking at this phenomenon with a series called “Buckeye Bigfoot.”

According to the Library, “Said to roam the forests of the Pacific Northwest, the elusive Bigfoot has been the subject of great debate and folklore. Let’s unlock the Bigfoot mystery and experience the wild beast!

The program dates and locations:

Butler – October 2 at 5 PM

Main Library – October 28 at 1 PM

Plymouth – November 6 at 5 PM

Ontario – November 11 at 1 PM
