As we reported back in April (our story can be found here), Richland Public Health recently launched a new website. As we shared then, “The new Richland Public Health website has easy access to a menu of agency services, an events calendar, the latest news, information on departments, and details about the agency and its operations.”

Various functionalities have been given to the site, and others returned. One in the latter category, unavailable for some time but now back, is the ability to order a birth certificate online. And it’s not just for people born in Richland County – Richland Public Health can issue certificates for anyone born in Ohio. The cost is $25 per copy.

Richland Public Health can also issue copies of death certificates for deaths taking place in Richland County, with the exception of the city of Shelby; deaths taking place there are registered through Shelby City Hall.

The online birth certificate ordering center is located here.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
