As October is ushered in, so are opportunities for families to enjoy the colors, food, and sounds of autumn.

One such occasion is Kids Day at Apple Hill Orchards. On Sunday, October 2 from noon to 6:00 PM, enjoy a petting zoo, scavenger hunt hayrides, pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, face painting, cider pressing, pony rides, a food booth, and more. Also included are a big tractor and balloon man for little ones.

Parking is available for $5 per vehicle.

Apple Hill Orchards, which is located at 1175 Lexington-Ontario Road in Mansfield, is a family-owned and operated orchard and farm market.
