Children will learn the basics of boating safety in a fun and interactive way, helping them build confidence around the water while emphasizing the importance of life jackets, safe speeds, and responsible behavior on the lake.
Free Rides and Lakeside Smiles
After the seminar, families can climb aboard for free 15-minute pontoon boat rides, giving kids a chance to feel the wind in their hair and experience the thrill of boating. A guardian must accompany each child, and the experience is sure to be a hit.

The marina will be buzzing with activity during the event. From face painting and classic games with prizes to a photo booth perfect for capturing summer memories, kids will be surrounded by engaging fun. Animal Encounters on Land and Lake
In a delightful twist, the event also includes visits from llamas and alpacas courtesy of Shady Lane Alpaca Farm, as well as animals from Gorman Nature Center. These friendly creatures will offer a hands-on opportunity for children to learn about wildlife in a relaxed and engaging setting.
