Mansfield Police Seek Information On Shooting

The Mansfield Division of Police is actively investigating a shooting that occurred Monday morning on Florence Avenue. Police Dispatch received a call from a Corie Patton (white male, age 24) at approximately 0144 hours at which time he advised he had been shot at the incident location. Upon officers’ arrival, Mr. Patton was found in front of 47 Florence Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest area. Read More

Making Noise In The Library

Case in point – over the next four weeks, the Main Library of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library will host “January Fanfare,” which will present four musical soloists and groups in concert. The Center for Community Solutions has published a report which looks at the challenges and opportunities for 47 of Ohio’s so-called “hub small cities,” defined as those cities which are a seat of county government, have a four year college or university, and have a major hospital. Water Main Repairs To Close Marion Avenue Next Week
