It’s that time of year when Richland County retailers gear up for what they hope will be robust holiday season sales.

As we shared last year, the prediction for Mansfield/Ontario area shopping numbers for retail spending during the Christmas season was the strongest in the state with a predicted 8 percent increase. Local store owners are certainly hoping that trend continues this year. Predictions for the 2019 shopping season from the University of Cincinnati Economics Center are due out near Thanksgiving.

Not surprisingly, several area retailers are currently advertising for holiday help. Those would include the following; click each for more information.

Macy’s

Kohl’s

Dick’s Sporting Goods

Ulta Beauty

rue21

Big Lots

Burlington
