What better way to celebrate an anniversary than to move into a new house?

In the case of The Blueberry Patch on Hanley Road in Mansfield, that idea means recognizing its 40th anniversary with a new building which holds an expanded gift shop and the 1285 Winery.

The new facility is on the same property as the original structure, and sits just a bit further down the driveway.

Richland Area Chamber and Economic Development officials were on hand on Thursday for a ribbon cutting.

The Blueberry Patch Facebook Page, which has additional photos and the latest on the new opening, can be accessed here.
