Another thing lost to the pandemic is coming back this week, and just in time for the best in summer dining.

The well-known Malabar Farm Restaurant opens Tuesday in its traditional home at 3645 Pleasant Valley Road in Lucas.

Closed for some time, the restaurant returns with wonderful gourmet foot. Bold, sophisticated, and unique flavors return for diners, including steaks, lamb chops, tiramisu, and more. The staff prides itself on being quick and attentive.

The restaurant is housed in a restored 1820s stagecoach inn in close proximity to Malabar Farm and the “Big House.” More information is available here.

Chef Dan Bailey’s menu also includes wild mushroom soup, garlic-whipped mashed potatoes, homemade breads, and scrumptious desserts. Beer and wine will be sold as well.

For more information visit the restaurant’s website, and for reservations call 419.938.5205.
