The under construction Lexington Pointe shopping center at 994 Lexington-Springmill Road in Ontario will in fact house a Five Guys Burgers and Fries, two local news outlets reported Thrus

As we shared back in August of last year, the popular burger chain had expressed an interest in locating in the building being constructed on the former Ocean Buffet property. At that time, the likely retail mix also included the restaurant chain Panda Express.

In a one story, it was shared that the delay was due in part to a change in project developers. Both stories stated that confirmation of the Five Guys investment was made by City of Ontario Zoning Inspector Adam Gongwer.

Gongwer also said that the Payless Shoes building near Richland Mall is being demolished and will be replaced by a new store, that a new Dollar General is coming to Ontario, that Cove Coffee Shop is getting a new outdoor patio, and that several residential construction permits have been issued.
