The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development is set to celebrate the vibrant small business community in the area by honoring its 2024 Small Business of the Year recipients. The annual awards event will take place on December 10 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Kehoe Center.

Presented by Medical Mutual, the celebration recognizes businesses of varying sizes and non-profits making significant contributions to the local community. Finalists will be highlighted in videos sponsored by Mechanics Bank, showcasing their impact and achievements.


Honoring Local Business Excellence

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Small Business with 14 or fewer employees
  • Small Business with 15 or more employees
  • Large and Small Non-Profit Organizations
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit Award

The large non-profit winner, Friendly House, and the small non-profit winner, Rubies Women’s Group, have already been announced and will be formally recognized at the event. Additionally, Allison Pence Art will receive the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, celebrating innovation and resilience in the small business sector.
