Largest Gift In OSU Mansfield History To Benefit Library

The Ohio State University at Mansfield recently received the largest donation in its history – $1.38 million. The estate gift was given to Ohio State Mansfield anonymously in support of the Bromfield Library and Information Commons on campus.

“The money was donated to create the Matthew and Frank Hannah Library Fund,” said Mansfield Campus Dean and Director Norman Jones. “Thanks to a benefactor, we are pleased to announce the establishment of this fund. This permanently endowed fund will provide annual income to the university to support Ohio State’s acquisition, preservation and restoration of books and reference materials.” More…

OSUM Changes The Game With The Math Literacy Initiative

When 22-year-old Natalie Sayre of Crestline decided to purse a degree in Early Childhood Education at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, she knew she wanted to help change and mold young lives. However, she had no idea that she would learn a new way of teaching math that is part of an effort to change the way local students are learning and open up endless possibilities for their futures.

More Good Financial News For Ohio State Mansfield Students

Positive news for potential students at The Ohio State University, including at the Mansfield regional campus, continued to arrive today.

This past Saturday, we shared news that starting in 2019, the university will be committing up to $3 million per year in additional financial aid for tuition and other fees at OSU’s regional campuses (our story can be found here). It was announced on Monday that in a proposal to the Board of Trustees, costs for incoming Ohio freshmen will lock in for four years with a 1.4 percent inflation-based increase. More…

OSU Mansfield Students To Benefit From Increased Financial Aid Support

Low and moderate income students at The Ohio State University’s five regional campuses, including Mansfield, soon will have support to cover the cost of their tuition and mandatory fees.

Starting in spring 2019, the university will commit up to $3 million a year in additional financial aid to meet the tuition and mandatory fee needs of regional campus students who are from Ohio, qualify for federal Pell Grants and have successfully begun their college career. To be eligible, students must have successfully completed the equivalent of at least one semester and initiated or completed a student-success course. More…
