The Auditorium at St. Peter’s High School will be a magical place to be over the next two weekends, as the St. Peter’s Department of Theatre and Performing Arts presents the musical Cinderella. The music is presented as a part of the 2017-2018 St. Peter’s Music Series.
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella was originally written for television, and starred a young Julie Andrews in the title role. Amazingly for the time, the broadcast had over 100 million viewers. On Friday night, the Mansfield St. Peter’s Boys Basketball squad fell in the Regional Finals to the team from Delphos St. John, 44-43. The game was played on the campus of the University of Toledo. On Sunday, February 26, St. Peter’s Annual Choir Program will feature the choir and musicians of St. Peter’s in a performance of Deutsches Requiem (German Requiem) by Johannes Brahms.
The marvelous acoustic setting of St. Peter’s Church will provide an ideal backdrop for this gem of the choral repertoire. The St. Peter’s Fall Gala is a night of fun and entertainment – which includes dinner, a silent and live auction, plus fun and fellowship.
Funds raised at the Fall Gala go towards supporting programs at St. Peter’s Parish & School. A special Fund A Need will support a new freezer for the Feed the Needy program. Additional funds raised will go towards new tables and chairs for the church basement. More…
