MSO Holiday Pops Concert On December 16

The annual Holiday Pops Concert of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will perform on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre on December 16 at 8 PM. The performance, conducted by Maestro Octavio Más-Arocas and Choral Director Larry Griffin will feature a program of holiday repertoire, closing with a traditional carol sing.

The concert will feature a children’s chorus conducted by Lori Turner as well as Rusty Cates as narrator on the Holcomb arrangement of “’Twas The Night Before Christmas.” As ever, a visit from Santa Claus will take place during the concert and guests will have the opportunity to capture a photo with Santa Claus in the lobby. First Congregational Choir To Perform Rutter’s Gloria

Combined Choir Concert To Honor Military Veterans

The choirs of Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Middle School will present “America,” a tribute to military veterans at 7 PM on Thursday, November 9.

The free program in the auditorium will be led by vocal music director Dirk Eachus and vocal music teacher Dalton Phillips. “The concert will be a tribute to those who serve,” Eachus said. “Members of the armed forces will be represented during the program.” More…

American Idol Finalist To Perform In Mansfield

Richland Public Health is sponsoring two concerts by Singer/Songwriter Crystal Bowersox at Richland Academy of the Arts, 75 West Walnut Street, Mansfield, on November 2.
