It’s a brand new addition to the holiday festivities in Mansfield. As a Christmas gift to the community in honor of our very first Christmas, we have created an opportunity to engage in some interactive and family-friendly holiday fun.

We’re calling it The Hidden Mansfield Holiday Hunt.

The Hunt is a walk through an area of downtown Mansfield led by the solving of clues. Each and every day, many of us drive or walk past local landmarks and buildings, but don’t always take the time to consider how they came to be where they are and the role that each played in local history. This is a change to learn a bit more about the past while enjoying the process.

Participants who successfully complete the Hunt will automatically be entered into a drawing for weekly gift card drawings. They also have access to what we’re calling “Santa’s Hidden Mansfield Workshop,” where they can play online games (including a skydive adventure which uses Google Maps through which players can aim Santa toward their own neighborhood), photos from hunt participants, and the identify of prize winners.

Information about The Hidden Mansfield Holiday Hunt can be found on Mansfield Holiday Central. Complete rules and instructions can be found on the official Hunt page, which is here.
