The Blockhouse will be bustling with holiday activity on Saturday, December 2, as the Richland Early American Center for History (REACH) hosts a Colonial Christmas.

From 2-6 pm, stop by the Blockhouse for an 18th Century Christmas. Enjoy hot apple cider, cookies, and conversation with historical reenactors displaying period accouterments and music.

Visitors will also be able to view progress on the cabin reconstruction ongoing in the park. Walls are up, and windows and door frames are in place. Plans are to cover the cabin for the upcoming winter and to complete work in 2018.

The Colonial Christmas event is free and open to the public.
