The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will have a special meeting/board retreat Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22, at the Mohican State Lodge and Conference Center, 1098 Ashland CR 3006, Perrysville.

On Friday, the Board will gather for dinner in the Bromfield Dining Room at 5:00 PM and then move to the Aerie Meeting Room for a 6:00 to 8:00 PM session.

After breakfast on Saturday, Board members will have a 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon session that will include a presentation by the Ohio School Boards Association. Then, after lunch, the Board will conclude the retreat with a 1:00 to 3:00 PM work session.

Also, the district’s Raemelton administration building will be closed on Monday, July 24. Ohio Edison has advised that the building will have no electricity because of work scheduled in the area.
