The Ohio State University at Mansfield has announced the slate of 2017-2018 Buckeye Ambassadors.

The Ohio State University at Mansfield Buckeye Ambassadors are a major part of the campus experience for new and continuing students.  They are responsible for representing OSU-Mansfield’s student body during new student orientation, leadership, seminars, recruitment efforts, community events and other activities.

Meet this year’s Ambassadors:

Jordan Brauchler
Major: Psychology
Hometown: Lexington, OH
“I chose Ohio State Mansfield because it’s close to home and affordable while still having the prestigious academic name.”
Favorite Class: Geology with Dr. Costa
Advice for New Students: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions.  We’re all here to help each other.”

Wyatt Clemens
Major: Social Work
Hometown: Ontario, OH
“I chose Ohio State Mansfield because it is close to home and offers a high-quality education.  I also enjoy the small class sizes and individual attention from professors.”
Favorite Class:  Math with Dr. Mikusa
Advice for New Students: “Get involved with groups and activities on campus.”

Kyle Harris
Major: Psychology
Hometown: Beaufort, SC
“I chose Ohio State Mansfield because of the small class sizes and the affordable education.”
Favorite Class: Intro to Film
Advice for New Students: “Professors are really willing to help if you ask!”

Maci Hedeen
Major: Child & Youth Studies
Hometown: Plymouth, OH
“I chose Ohio State Mansfield because of the small class sizes and affordability.  Also, it helps that the faculty and staff are super nice.”
Favorite Class: Human Biology with Dr. Abedon
Advice for New Students: “Be yourself and don’t forget that sometimes you deserve a sleeve of Oreos and a nap!”

Chloe Montgomery
Major: Social Work
Hometown: Lucas, OH
“I love the affordability aspect of Ohio State Mansfield and the ability to grow close bonds with faculty and staff.”
Favorite Class: History of Rock N’ Roll
Advice for New Students: “Practice self-care and set a lot of time aside to study.  Don’t procrastinate!”

Emma Park
