Mansfield Senior High Athletic Director Jen Lepard has released information about fall sports, including home football ticket sales.

Practices

Mandatory practices for eight fall sports will begin Aug. 1. Lepard also reminded Senior High and Mansfield Middle School parents about a mandatory fall sports meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the auditorium.

“Those of you with student athletes in your household know the amount of time that is spent during the summer months participating in conditioning and camps. I am sure you are just as ready to get the season started as we are,” Lepard said.

Sports that will begin mandatory practices on Aug. 1, and their head coaches, include:

  • Cross country, Brian Constance
  • Football, Chioke Bradley
  • Golf (boys), Scott Toney
  • Golf (girls), John Grant
  • Soccer (boys) Jeff Sayres
  • Soccer (girls), John VanHouten
  • Tennis (girls), Terra Beard
  • Volleyball, Libby Robinson

Football tickets

Football season tickets will go on sale on Aug. 8 in the athletic office.

“There will be no reserved or assigned seating this year,” Lepard said. “All tickets will be sold as general admission tickets. A season ticket package is available for $30 and will include admission to all five regular season home games and the jamboree game on Aug. 18.”

Lepard said pre-sale tickets for all home games, priced at $4 for students and adults, will be on sale in the athletic office from 8:30 AM to 3 PM on game days. Gate admission will be $6 for students and adults, $4 for senior citizens with an Ohio Buckeye Card or identification.
