Mansfield City Schools Superintendent Brian Garverick has reached out to families of students affected by the closing of ECOT, the online Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow.
Thousands of former ECOT students statewide, including scores in the Mansfield area, suddenly face uncertainty about their education. Garverick has offered Mansfield City Schools’ assistance in the following letter to ECOT families:
Dear Parent/Guardian:
It is unfortunate that your children’s/child’s current school option ECOT, has closed their doors.
I am writing to you today to let you and your family know that the Mansfield City Schools family has always cared about your educational experience and we are here for you during this time of uncertainty.
Mansfield City Schools offers a high-quality educational experience that can meet your individual needs. From credit recovery to advanced coursework, the use of technology and an incredibly caring staff, we can help you continue with your educational goals with the least amount of inconvenience to your family. We also offer a wide range of co- and extracurricular activities.
We would like to set up a time to talk with you about enrollment in our schools and how we can help you achieve your specific educational needs.
