On Tuesday, in remembrance of the events 17 years ago on 9/11 and the bravery that was displayed by first responders, Lexington Central Elementary fourth graders made lunches, wrote thank you notes, and delivered them to 50 local fire fighters, police, and state highway patrol troopers.

The fourth graders wrote notes of appreciation, decorated lunch bags and delivered the lunches to the Richland County State Highway Patrol, Galion and Ontario Police and Fire Departments, as well as Lexington Police Department and Troy Township Rescue Squad.
