In a departure from previous editions of The Renaissance Podcast, the most recently posted interview does not center on a particular performance or event. Instead, the episode features an informal discussion between Colleen Cook of Renaissance Performing Arts and Kelby King, Director of Marketing for Avita Health Systems.

In their conversation, Cook asks King about her own background in the arts, and then moves on to inquire about the relationship between business investment and a community’s offering in the arts and culture. King referenced Avita’s substantial recent investment in creating the new Ontario Hospital, and talked about the ways in which quality of life influences business opportunities – such as when physicians consider whether or not to relocate to the area.

And, in turn, business support provides funding that makes those performances and offerings available.

It’s an interesting few minutes which can be listened to below.
