It’s time to break out of your winter “habit” for a breath of fresh air as a new musical hits the Renaissance Theatre.

Sister Act, referred to as a “Divine Musical Comedy,” was written by Bill and Cherri Steinkellner and was based on the hit 1992 film of the same name. It features music by Alan Menkin, whose scores include those for Disney films The Little Mermain, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and others.

As in the movie, the story is told of nightclub singer Delores Van Cartier who is forced into the witness protection program and ends up turning the Little Sisters of Perpetual Faith on their ear.

This production features Condrea Webber in the lead role.

Showtimes for Sister Act will be March 4 and 11 at 8:00 PM, as well as March 5 and 12 at 2:30 PM. Online ticketing purchasing can be done at this link.
