District 3 of the Ohio Department of Transportation has published its list of current road projects in Richland County. The following work will be taking place over the next week:
US Route 30
US 30, in Mansfield at the I-71 and US 30 interchange, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for maintenance repairs. Night work continues from 7pm-6am on US 30 from SR 309 to Fifth Ave. Ramp E, for US 30 eastbound to I-71 northbound, is closed for repairs. The ramp detour is US 30 eastbound to Koogle Rd. Exit Ramp, north on Koogle Rd. to I-71 NB on ramp, and north on I-71. The entire project is expected to be complete October 2017.
Township Road 37 (Shauck Rd.)
TR 37 (Shauck Rd.), between Ross Rd. and Denman Rd./Fox Rd./Mazwell Rd., is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is TR 37 (Shauck Rd.) to Denman Rd., continue north on Denman Rd. to Steam Corners-Lexington Rd., west on Steam Corners-Lexington Rd. to Ross Rd., south on Ross Rd. to TR 37 (Shauck Rd.), and reverse for southbound motorists. The project is expected to be complete November 2017.
County Road 48
CR 48 (Millsboro West Rd.), between Bowers Rd. and Rudy Rd., is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for eastbound motorists is CR 48 to SR 314, north on SR 314 to SR 309, east on SR 309 to Lexington Ontario Rd., south on Lexington Ontario Rd. to CR 48, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen October 2017.
State Route 97
SR 97, starting at the intersection with Bellville Johnsville Rd., will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained with signalized lane closure systems. The project is expected to be complete October 2017.
State Route 309
SR 309, between All American Dr. and Earick Rd., will close Monday, October 16 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for westbound motorists is SR 309 to SR 61, north on SR 61 to US 30, east on US 30 to SR 314, south on SR 314 to SR 309, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The project is expected to be complete November 2017.
County Road 371
CR 371 (Union St.), south of Pleasant St. in Lucas, is closed for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is CR 371 (Union St.) to SR 39, east on SR 39 to Broad/Lucas-Perryville Rd., southeast on Broad/Lucas-Perryville Rd. to Dickes Rd., west on Dickes Rd. to Moffet Rd., north on Moffet Rd. to S. Union St., and reverse for southbound motorists. The project is expected to be complete November 2017.
